Junior Customer Account Coordinator

Location: Operations - Batavia, IL


Eagle Flexible Packaging (“Eagle”) is seeking a Junior Customer Account Coordinator (Junior Customer Project Manager) who will assist the Project Management Department in ensuring customer projects and job orders are successful from order placement and lead time expectations all the way through to completion and receipt of Eagle product.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist Project Managers with communication to the customer after purchase orders are received.
  • Enter sales orders into enterprise resource planning (ERP) system and create order confirmations.
  • Retrieve signed order confirmations and signatures on Terms and Conditions of Sale.
  • Assist Project Managers in coordinating and communicating with the internal Graphics/Prepress team.
  • Create job packets and other necessary paperwork and details for Production team to fulfill orders efficiently and accurately.
  • Create color draw downs and assist Project Managers with mailing hard copy proofs and color draw downs.
  • Assist Project Managers in coordinating with Purchasing, Production Scheduling, and Shipping teams to ensure lead time needs for customers are met.
  • Collaborate with Production and Scheduling Department to ensure all projects are receiving proper levels of attention to detail.
  • Assist with customer deposit requirements and approval of invoicing on all shipments.
  • Ensure that all company food safety and quality assurance procedures are followed at all times. Escalate any issues/concerns to management.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school degree or equivalent (GED).
  • Minimum one year customer service experience.
  • Strong customer service acumen, including a sense of urgency to deliver the desired customer experience with follow-through, responsiveness, and professionalism.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and accountable for the accuracy of the information provided to internal and external customers.
  • Proficient in keyboarding/typing, including ability to manage a high volume of email correspondence and data entry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel with proven ability to learn new software programs.
  • Good general math skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in Business, Customer Service, Communications, or related field.
  • Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
  • Experience in the printing industry.

Pay: $35,000.00 – $42,000.00 per year

  • Vision Insurance – On the first of month following 60 days of employment, employees this voluntary benefit through Mutual of Omaha.
  • 401K Plan – Plan entry date is the first of the month following 6 months of service. Eagle provides its employees with a 100% match up to 1% and 50% match up to 6%.
  • Company Paid Short Term Disability – The Short Term Disability premium is 100% paid by Eagle.
  • Company Paid Long Term Disability – The Long Term Disability premium is 100% paid by Eagle.
  • Life Insurance – The Basic Life premium is 100% paid by Eagle and is a flat $20,000 benefit for all FT, benefit eligible employees. Employees have the option to purchase additional voluntary life insurance for self, spouse, and dependent children.
  • Vacation/PTO: The amount of vacation/paid time off (PTO) employees receive each year starts at 80 hours (2 weeks) each year, which accrues at a rate of 1.538 hours per week, and increases with the length of employment.
  • 6 Company Paid Holidays – Eligible after 60 days of employment.
  • Sick Leave – Eligible for paid sick days at the rate of 3 days (24 hours) per year after 6 months of service (prorated for per the calendar year).
